Freedom from Ego
In spirituality, we may encounter the terms freedom or liberation. But freedom for who and liberation from what? Although it has been colorfully described as death of the ego, it is nothing more (and nothing less) than the relinquishment of belief in an illusion. A very convincing illusion to be sure, but an illusion none-the-less.
