Faith and Doubt
Faith is often seen as the opposite of doubt, but doubt is essential to spiritual awakening. A sense of longing for the Divine may be counter-balanced by doubt and hesitation. It is helpful to know that doubt and hesitation can’t be dispelled by our personal will. Understanding their source and their purpose is needed. This discourse will talk about these seemingly opposite movements so that they may both be accepted and seen clearly.
