EP23: How home workouts, dancing and setting a goal helped Britt lose over 50lbs Today’s special guest Britt talks about her weight loss journey As a child, Britt was immersed in an environment of fad dieting as her parents battled to lose weight before developing an eating disorder at 18 years old. We hear how Britt managed to overcome this stage in her life and then gained weight in later years after settling into married life and having children. Britt works as a private carer (you need to follow her on Instagram to hear some of the funny conversations she has with FM and FL (favourite man and favourite lady). Then, when lockdown hit Britt was restricted to her home and gained an additional 50lbs over a short space of time. Brit talks about finding her “Why” to begin losing weight with some quite poignant and difficult moments leading to her decision. This success story is great in that Brit found a way to focus on overall health instead just what she ate. By following a home workout program, dancing in her bedroom and counting calories, she has completely smashed her goals and is looking and feeling much better for it. Britt’s Instagram is one of the most entertaining accounts I follow with daily updates and inspiration related to lifestyle, fitness and all the daily things that happen in her life.
