Hear how Sarah lost over 6 Stone & won a national award for her weight loss

Today I am extremely pleased and proud to introduce Sarah Wynter, national award winner of Miss Slinky 2023, presented by Slimming World for her amazing achievement of weight loss. In this episode, you will hear how a "normal" mum made the decision to change her life after years of not feeling happy with being overweight. Sarah talks to me about the emotional and physical struggles she faced as part of her daily life and job working in a Intensive Care Unit of a busy hospital.  You can hear the difference in Sarah's voice between looking back at some of the more difficult moments before losing weight and her new life having commited to the Slimming World plan and losing almost 7 stone as part of her journey. As well as being a national award winner, beating over 10,000 other worthy applicants, Sarah has also now appeared on the front cover of the latest Slimming World magazine and I hear how surreal it has been for her to receive photos from friends and family all over the UK who have spotted her on the shelves of their local shops. Although Sarah is a warm, remarkable person with a kind heart who has acheived something incredible, she is the first to say she is just a normal person and that anyone can do this if they put their mind to it.
