In the first of a two-part conversation, Rick talks growing up in an Italian family on Long Island in New York State, how he went from physically fit, teenage amatuer boxer to a married guy who finished what was on his plate and that of his spouse and it's impact. Rick shares some of the diets he has tried over the years and some insights about when he has impulses to turn to food.
