Egyptologe Marleen Reynders is gepassioneerd door fascinerende farao's. Het woord “farao” komt van het Egyptische per-aa, wat “groot huis” betekent. Het verwees oorspronkelijk naar het paleis, en later naar de koning zelf. Ze werden gezien als goddelijke heersers.
