Tommy Smith: Auckland FC vice-captain ahead of the A-League derby with Wellington Phoenix

Auckland FC are trekking south to play the Wellington Phoenix on their home turf. 

It’s the A-League's first ever Kiwi derby, and spirits and anticipation are high. 

Auckland FC vice-captain Tommy Smith joined Piney for a chat ahead of the match, giving an insight into the team’s preparations. 

“We know that we can't rest on our laurels, and we wanna keep this run going, so we have to work extremely hard.” 

"We know it's gonna be a tough contest.”
