Tim Southee: Black Caps veteran on his decision to retire and his legendary career in test cricket

One of New Zealand’s greatest bowlers is retiring from the international stage. 

Tim Southee has announced his retirement from test cricket, England’s upcoming tour in New Zealand to be his last tour.  

He joined Jason Pine to reflect on his legendary career. 

“It just feels like the time right now to finish, and what a series to, I guess finish on, against a great side in England, at three of my favourite grounds in the world.” 

“It just felt right to finish up at home.”
