Mea Motu: world champion boxer on her son Davey being named Junior Māori Sportsman of the Year at the 2023 Māori Sports Awards

The teenage son of Kiwi champion boxer Mea Motu has taken a unique path to sporting success.

Davey Motu was recently named Junior Māori Sportsman of the Year at the 2023 Māori Sports Awards- for his prowess in lawn bowling. 

Mea Motu joined Elliott Smith to discuss her son's victory.
