Jacob Spoonley: Former Wellington Phoenix and All Whites goalkeeper and Sky Sports analyst on first ever loss for Auckland FC

After a brilliant start to the season, Auckland FC have come crashing down with their first ever defeat. 

The Black Knights went down 4-0 to Western United in Mt Smart on Saturday, with three goals coming inside the first 34 minutes. 

Former Wellington Phoenix and All Whites goalkeeper and Sky Sports analyst Jacob Spoonley tells Jason Pine not many people would have seen this coming. 

“Western was so fast and aggressive, and they started early.”
