Dick Tayler: Remembering the 1974 Commonwealth gold race

One of the great moments in NZ Commonwealth Games history was Dick Tayler's unexpected gold at the 1974 Christchurch Games. 

The Dick Tayler 10KM anniversary meeting is on in Dunedin today to mark the 50th anniversary of the race. 

Dick Tayler spoke to Jason Pine on Weekend Sport about why he can still remember it all so vividly.
