Amy nominated her mom Deborah for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Her 73-year-old mom was diagnosed with cancer this spring and has been in treatment since. She goes to radiation five days a week, but doesn't drive because the chemo has really hurt her vision. Amy and her brother help get her to her appointments, but it's a lot when Amy is working full time. Thanks to The Griffin Center for Cancer Care and Griffin Health, we're able to get Deborah a nice wig and Uber gift cards to help with transportation.

Kathy nominated for Gloria a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Gloria has been helping her daughter raise her 15-year-old son and has had many medical issues this year including a heart attack, surgeries and more. This past September, there was a fire in her condo and they were displaced to a hotel for a month. Kathy's wish is for Gloria to have a new dryer in her condo. Thanks to Tony Aitoro and Aitoro Appliance of Norwalk, we're able to grant her wish!

Deborah nominated her son-in-law Alex and his three children for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Alex has three children, and unfortunately he lost his job earlier this year and was then evicted from their home. The three children have been sleeping on air mattresses since their eviction and thanks to Spector Furniture & Mattress Gallery we'll be getting the children new mattresses.

Linda nominated Susan for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Susan's brother and his wife were charged with child abuse and to prevent their children from going to foster care, Susan took in all four children. She went from being single to having four kids! The kids are doing great with Susan, but Linda wanted to help with Christmas gifts this year. Thanks to East Haven & Ridgefield Building Supply with Boise Cascade, all four kids will have gifts under the tree!

Christy nominated a family in Bridgeport who recently lost everything in a house fire for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. All of their personal items has been destroyed and the mom just wants a good Christmas for her kids this year. Thanks to East Haven & Ridgefield Building Supply with Boise Cascade, we'll help to replenish clothing and toys for the children this holiday.

Irene nominated Louisa for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Louisa is a cook at a nursing facility and goes out of her way to know every resident. She is also the primary caregiver for her brother who is not well. Thanks to Home Comfort Practice, we'll be able to get Louisa some special gifts & treats under the tree this year.

Toni nominated Nelda for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Nelda's been having a difficult time walking, as well as getting up and down. Nelda's husband is a huge help with cooking and cleaning, but they are both older. Thanks to Griffin Health, we're able to get her a reclining lift chair so she can get up on her own and give her some independence.

Kathleen nominated Cristina for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Cristina's brother's wife passed away and he now has stage 4 brain cancer, with Cristina's family trying to support his children and bringing him to appointments. Thanks to Brown Roofing, we're going to make sure Cristina has enough holiday gifts for everyone as well as food for the holidays.

Jane nominated her friend Sophia for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Sophia has had some medical issues this year, including a heart attack and struggles with diabetes. Her husband hasn't been able to work for a while due to severe back pain. Thanks to Attorney Paul Ganim, we're gifting Sophia a relaxing spa day and also plenty of groceries in time for the holidays.

Lisa nominated her family member Blanche for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Blanche's son passed away from cancer a couple of years ago and since then, she is raising her 12-year-old granddaughter. Her husband was recently diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and is in strong need of a chairlift. Thanks to Collins Accessibility Solutions, we are going to grant Lisa's Christmas Wish and install a chairlift in their home.

Kaitlyn nominated Zhane for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Zhane got diagnosed with very aggressive breast cancer and immediately had to get a double mastectomy. She was just about to start a job before her treatment. She is a single mom to her two sons and is a very loving mother. Thanks to Ring's End, we're able to help give the kids winter clothes, presents, and groceries.

Sam nominated Cindy for a WEBE108 Griffin Health Christmas Wish. Cindy has lupus and is battling cancer, but even in the midst of her struggles she has rescued two animals and recently even saved a stranger's life! Being on disability, Cindy lives on a very limited budget and puts her dogs before herself. Thanks to Curran Volkswagen, we're able to give Cindy groceries and pet food.
