Altana AI, a New York-based supply chain management startup, secured a $200 million Series C investment led by the US Innovative Technology Fund, raising its valuation to $1 billion. Other investors include March Capital, Generation Investment Management, Salesforce Ventures, Friends & Family Capital, and existing investors such as GV, Activate Capital, Floating Point, and Omers Ventures. Altana's platform uses AI to analyze supply chain data, providing extensive visibility and identifying anomalies and risks, crucial amid new trade restrictions and policies related to climate and national security. Founded in 2018, Altana AI has now raised a total of $322 million, with its previous Series B round of $100 million occurring in 2022. This investment from the US Innovative Technology Fund aligns with its pattern of significant financial commitments, having recently led an $80 million Series B round for Halo Industries and funding Celestial AI and Lambda this year.
