In July, Andreessen Horowitz led U.S.-based startups with 11 funding rounds, involving significant investments such as a $200 million round for Astranis and a $175 million Series B for Saronic. General Catalyst made nine deals, including a $200 million investment in HarmonyCares. Sequoia Capital averaged seven deals per month this year, including a $150 million round for Vanta. Lightspeed Venture Partners participated in eight deals, co-leading rounds for companies like Scorpion Therapeutics and Chainguard.
