Email Spike Puts Video and Countdown Timers in Your Email.
Email Spike This too allows you to put a video into your email that can play (this would be an mp4, and have a backup animated gif so if the browser doesn't display in the browser). You can also create a slideshow that you create write there in the software. You can also make a YouTube gif. This is a 10 second gif inside the email. You can also create a countdown timer that shows in your email. You pick the style of the timer, the end date, the font size, font style, and copy and paste some code into your email. You still need to create great content to get people to open the email, but this looks pretty cool. As I write this it is $47 and the creators say this price could go up to $200 at any time. So here again, a company that has a scarcity tool is using scarcity. Shocking. If that works for you, then maybe you should use it in your emails by purchasing email spike (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/emailspike) . before the price goes up.

SemRush and Editorial Calendar
I was at WordCamp Dayton last weekend and these two tools kept coming up. The interesting thing is with SEMRush, it might be easier to say what it DOESN'T do than what it does. In a nutshell, you can spy on our competitors, and figure out what keywords they are using, how much they are spending, and what keywords would be a good fit for you The only thing missing from the feature list is a free pair of knives. The price starts at $69 a month and they offer a 7-day guarantee so if you're not sure about the product, block out some time and really jump into the deep end if you sign up. Editorial Calendar Plugin This free plugin makes it super easy to plot out when posts will appear on your website The Editorial Calendar makes it possible to see all your posts and drag and drop them to manage your blog. So with SEMRush you decide what to write about it, and then combine it with the Editorial calendar to figure out when it will be published

Easy WP Local Host & AdRespark Facebook Ads
Easy WP Local Host (http://jvz3.com/c/59893/202416) AD respark Ad Respark (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/adrespark) is a Flexible tool for making Facebook Ads. Their video shows you just click a few buttons and it switches it to a banner, or pinterest, etc. I did not have the same experience. I had to do some tweaking as an image for Facebook won't fit on a pinterest icon (in some cases). I don't beleive they purposely mislead you, but it's not quite as simple as their videos show. It is a nice program with the ability to pull in pictures, and use their tool to check to see if your add should pass the Facebook 80/20 rule. I did sign up for one of the webinars and their webinars were some pretty heavy duty selling from their partners. For me, when you have to keep asking, "Are you ready? I want to make sure you're engaged!" How about show me what I signed up to see and I'll be engaged instead of 37,000 screen shots of how much money people are making on JVzoo. So I don't blame the makers of the software, but I would stick to the videos tha twalk you through the software and skip the live webinars. here is an overview video, or go to

How to Speed up Wistia Videos
We all know you can click on the fears in the bottom right hand corner of a youtube video and choose to play it faster. This is not an option with videos served on the Wisita platform. So here is the hack around it Use Chrome and go to the page that has the video Right click on the video and choose HD only. Use the keystroke CTRL+SHIFT+J to bring up chrome's java tools Go CTRL+F to bring up the find tool and type "embed" there will be quite a few you typically want the one in the iframe. Click on the code for the video and then right click and choose copy link location Navigate to clipconverter.cc and paste the link into the box and click on Continue. If a bunch of mp4's show up, that was the right link. If not go back and try again When you see the mp4's pick the one you want and choose download. Put Your Customers Journey on Autopilot
I've been seeing a new tool pop up on more and more sites. This lead me to thinking, "What are they using to do this?" When I was using YNAB.com the owner let me know the software had been updated. When I was using Audiometric.io I was told that the system would be down by maintenance. So when I found this tool, and found out that you can start using it for $4 if you have less than 500 contacts in the database - it seems like a complete no brainer. You can take it for a spin for free for 30 days. Here is a video that shows off what it can do (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/f609f1tut)

Crazy Kala and WPFotoPress - Turn Wordpress Into PhotoShop
Today we have two tools that allow you to crate great images. Crazy Kala CrazyKala is a cool web based editor that is similar to Canva.com This is a different business model as there is an up front fee and that's it. With Canva it is free, but you pay for images you use ($1.00 each). It is $27 and expect to be upsold when you sign up. For more information check out crazykala.com (http://weeklywebtools.com/crazykala) Check out CrazyKala in Video (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/837221tu5) Foto Press - Photoshop Type Editing in Wordpress This is another $27 product. This is a plugin for Wordpress. I've purchased it, but haven't had a chance to really kick the tires on it. It looks super functional with tons of features. Here is a video that shows it off. Untangling eCommerce Fees: A Quest for a Cart
E-Junkie Has A Simple No Mess Setup (http://www.e-junkie.com/?r=40178) has the ability to sound digital downloads via a buy now or a add to cart button. For $5 a month you get unlimited transactions and you can store up to 200 MB. As the typical Paypal fees are 2.9% +.30 cents per transaction. If we through out the 30 cents, it would be 1$172 to pay $5 to paypal (depending on how many transactions that would be lower cause 30 cents a pop will eventuality add up). You can have up to 10 products. The 200 mb is what causes me concern. If you're selling videos that could chew up space (even zipped up). Selz.com Slick Flexible Shopping (http://www.selz.com) is a slick format that charges. They have cool tools that will stamp a pdf for those selling ebooks. They have tools to put your store on Facebook and other social media. For free you pay 4.9% + 30 cents for 5 products. If you go up to $12.99 you get unlimited products and you can customize your design. If you want a shopping cart it's $4.99 a month. If you want to accept Paypal it's $4.99. Slick yes. It just seems like they charge for thing that others things are not. For $20 a month I get paypal, a cart, unlimited products, and a combined 3.9%. I find their system confusing. If I pay them their combined 3.9% do I still pay paypal their 2.9% With Selz you get paid via stripe which ends up going into your bank account. Gumroad: Great For Software (http://www.gumroad.com) allows you to accept anything for 5% + 25 cents per transaction. This is for unlimited products, and unlimited products. The one thing that is seriously missing is a shopping cart. They do have an affiliate program. That is a little clunky as you have to invite people to be an affiliate (so it's not easy). They do offer a pre-orders function and if you're selling software with an activation code this is the place where gumroad excels. I do like that they automatically deposit into my checking account via ACH (or paypal). Do it Yourself Plugins EStore There is a free Simple Paypal Shopping Cart From estore plugin (https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-estore-plugin-complete-solution-to-sell-digital-products-from-your-wordpress-blog-securely-1059?ap_id=jammindave) for a one time fee for $49. This is a super flexible cart plugin. If you want additional payment options that is a one time fee of $40. Easy Digital Downloads (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/easydigitaldownloads) (EDD) plugin is versatile until you go to sell something then you pay roughly $50 a feature. I like the look of their site, and they seem very flexible. If I want to sell via paypal business that add on is $49 for a single site. Which Way I'm Leaning? After watching some videos on (http://www.e-junkie.com/?r=40178) may be the way I end up going. It's simple, and if you don't have a ton of products, it shouldn't be that expensive. There is next to no fees to get going, and at $5 a month, it would take years to match the fees associated with some of these FIY plugins. I want a cart, and easy downloads.

Divi Theme Vs ProStyler Evo
Pro Styler Evo Theme I recently learned about ProStyler (http://weeklywebtools.com/prostyler) has a ton of options — 4 Instant Presets— Ultra Responsive.— Multi-Purpose Theme.— Pre-configured Page Layouts (Templates) for homepages, pages, blogs and video layouts.— 3 different header layout options.— Responsive Image Slider.— Custom Widgets.— Unlimited Color Variations.— Tons of Shortcodes.— Google Maps Integration.— WooCommerce Integration.— SEO Optimised.— Built on the Latest Technology.— WordPress MU Compatible— Backup Options— Dark Color Options— Insert Galleries With A Click— Hundreds of Icons Available— Advanced Typography Options— Add Countdown Timer— Add Google Maps— Add Sales Features— Add User Features I looked at the website, checked out their support. I saw where the Theme has been upgraded over time, so it all looked good and it is. So I bought and installed it. The true power isn't the theme but a Divi (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473&url=18932) . There is one common theme among all "SITE BUILDERING - DRAG AND DROP - kind of tools. They have insane amounts of details that you can (but probably won't) use. So on one hand you don't need to learn code, but you can get a shell shocked when you click on the wrong tab and see all sorts of CSS options. Divi Theme The thing you gain with Divi (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473&url=18932) theme is I purchased a Lifetime Access for $249. Their service is awesome, they have cool forums, and I get my questions answered quickly. See Vido (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/6239a1519)

WP Site Guardian This plugin shows you how easy it is to hack a Wordpress site, and then it shows how after installing their plugin your website is safe. Watch Video (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/0c8d015f2) Vid Stickers Vid Stickers are a cute way to make your videos stand out from everyone else who is using the same software as everyone else. Free Screencast Tool
I stumbled across two tool that you can use to create screencasts. The first one is called Screencast-o-matic and the other is Jing. Screencast-o-matic allows you to record 15 minutes of video. You can record your screen and webcam, save the file and publish to YouTube. The free version will put a watermark on your video. I also found Jing which is from the same people who make Camtasia. This software allows you to create 5 minute videos. The files is a swf file. They used to have a pro version which allowed files of mp4, but that has been discontinued. So if you are looking for a free solution screencast-o-matic might be something to look at. If you want to go pro to allowed you to make longer recordings, perform edits, and remove the watermark, the price is $15/yr Scarcity Product Provides Live Stats to Customers Social Pop is a great idea. It works with sites like JVZoo, Click bank, Deal Guardian and others to give you real time statistics on sales. For example if you have a deal for the first 100 sales at a certain price, Social Pop let's people know exactly how many are left. If can let people know if someone else just purchased the program as well. It integrates with the different websites I mentioned and you can customize the way the pop appears, looks, and where it is positioned on the page. My biggest complaint was I set up a black Friday deal from Friday to Monday and the counter showed 24 hours. Their support was quick and really wanted to help .You need to be able to copy code into the heading area and the body. I had one out of two and it caused a conflict with Value Add on (which I use) so I requested a refund, and the gave me one almost immediately. I liked the product, and their support was quick (but I had a very limited window) so I didn't have time to help me troubleshoot.

The Quick, Easy, and Affordable Way to Create a Professional Logo
I've seen a few programs that help you create logos. This is great, but sometimes you are in a hurry, and that is where logaster (https://www.logaster.com/ref/podcastcoach.html) comes in handy (for the record, I think its a dumb name). You put in the name of your company, or lead magnet (or whatever you're making a logo for) and an optional slogan. (https://www.logaster.com/ref/podcastcoach.html) spits out hundreds of potential logos that you can tweak. You can add key words to help you find and create the right logo for you. When you are done you can but a kit of the logo for $35 or just an online version. Find The Exact Influencers You Need in Record Time
I just discovered Here is a quick tutorial from the founder (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/8d76716i6) .

How to Write Better Headlines Quickly and Easily
Yes I used this tool to make today’s post title. Previously I was playing with Headlinr as a tool for creating headlines. I like it. It’s a browser extension. This is an actual piece of software and it seems to have a bit more teeth. You can add words and additional functionality. It also has features to let you import and export Headlines. Builder The builder is where you type in a subject and it comes up with an insane number of headlines. If you like it you can copy it and paste it and use it in your blog post, video post, YouTube Video, etc. If you want to, you can add it to the “My Titles” tab and later come back and enter notes about how it worked. SwipeFile There is a swipefile tab which has over 3,000 headlines that are used to create a customized headline based on your subject. News Headlines I liked this tool to see what is happening in the news. You type in a subject and it searches Google and Bing for that subject. You can select what countries to use. Again, you can copy/add the title and begin customizing the headline to be your own. Quick/More The More feature allows you to add in benefits of your headlines, a time frame and more and it comes up with more detailed headlines. When I use this feature it needed a bit of tweaking. I then used the help buttons and I learned I needed to change the format of my topics and it worked fine. How Do You Know If Your Headlines Are Any Good? Enter the Title Analyser to analyze your Headlines. These two tools work great together. You can created a giant list in Fresh Title and copy the entire list and paste them into the Analyzer to rate your headline based on research for what works.

Convertkit Email: Is This An Aweber Killer?
I've used Aweber (http://podcastcoach.aweber.com/) makes you pay for people who have unsubscribed (but you've never removed - according toe convertkit.com's site). Until recently, you could not add a list to aweber without doing a double opt-in. In some cases (without using the list automation) you could easily have the same person on multiple lists and be paying for them. For me, I've been paing $15 a month ($180/yr) so it did what I wanted it to do - send email, and convert an RSS feed to an email. I've wanted to start doing more strategies to build my list. I purchased Lead Pages, and purchased Optin Monster, and when I saw videos on Aweber (http://podcastcoach.aweber.com/) , part lead pages, part optin monster. The price seems a bit hit at $29 a month for 1000 subscribers (you can send 10X the number of subscribers). But then, if you're paying for unsubscribers it may be cheaper. The cool thing is you can EASILY create segments of your list and just send (or exclude) them. I like this idea, especially for those list that I want to do more than send out a follow up email. Check out these videos from Convertkit (http://mbsy.co/cQZRN) . Videos at www.weeklywebtools.com/300 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com)

Copywriting -3D Flip Book - Bookly - Learn Dash
Boost Sales with Better Copy Ray Edwards is a master copywriter, and right now he is kicking of a course (that I have taken, it's awesome) and you can get a ton of content for free as he unveils his course. Go to www.weeklywebtools.com/rayedward Real 3D Flip Book link to a video (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/643ecti9i) Bookly Wordpress Booking System Over the years I've used many booking systems. I currently use Appointlet. It's fine. It's simple, and it does what I wants. However, when I saw the The plugin is $46 (http://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-responsive-wordpress-appointment-booking-and-scheduling-plugin/7226091?ref=jammindave) . Here is a video (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/9876cti9g) LearnDash WordPress LMS This LMS is for the person who is not only interested in having a member ship site, but in making sure that they actually learn the subject. There are certifications, there are quizes, and all sort of things you can add on to the system. They have features like custom forums per class, but it appears you need to install BBPress for that (and I can never get bbpress to look anything but awful). It starts at $99 and you can find more information here. (http://www.learndash.com)

P1 Targeting App New Powerful Keyword Tool
In the past we've mentioned tools like Long Tail Pro, and Marketing Samurai, but there is a new tool on the scene called P1 Tartgeting App (http://jvz6.com/c/59893/181427) . It's a pretty cool keyword app. It does the following: You type in one word and it looks up tons of keywords You can then look at the competition around such words You can check domains that are available You can sort by profitability You can filter out the keywords that are less profitable The pricing starts at $29 (up to $99), and once you sign up there will be an upsell for a content app, and (BUT WAIT THERE's MORE) there will be one last upsell for a targeting app. WATCH VIDEO (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/4c989tif9)

FSQM Pro A Bit of a Disapointment
I was using Polldaddy to do polls. Its very robust, but if you use the free version you can't export the results. When I found FSQM Pro, it seemed to do everything that poll daddy did, AND it let your export your results. The plugin is pretty easy to use, I made a form, it looks great, and it has tons of options. When I went to export, I could export the questions - not the results. This is handy in the event you made a survey on one website and you wanted to duplicate it on another, but not what I was looking for. For $29 I expected more. Here is a video. It's a great plugin, but for me I think an additional $10 for the exporting option is too much. Their support has me jumping through hoops to get their attention. There is plenty of documentation and videos. Here is a link to a video (http://intelliplayer.com/watch/24531tg9u)

CanvaKala Super Image Editor for Wordpress
(http://weeklywebtools.com/canvakala) is a new plugin that allows you to do serious editing to your images without leaving wordpress. You can add effects like those in instagram, add text, brighten, sharpen, etc. There are even layers like in Photoshop. There are hundreds of images to pick from (you are pulling from sites that have legal images). As I record this episode its $17 with a promise of the price going up (to what I'm not sure - you know the old internet marketing thing). They do have a link to support which goes to a ticketing system, so without craeting a ticket, they have at least taken a step towards being legit. The plugin looks really cool. Here is the video demo (http://weeklywebtools.com/canvakala) .

Social Warfare - Best Social Plugin?
I hear about this plugin on my friend Social Warfare plugin (http://weeklywebtools.com/socialwarfare) unique in a few ways. (http://weeklywebtools.com/socialwarfare) It only focuses on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. (but really, do you use others?) You can dictate what image is shared on FaceBook You can completel control what is tweeted out including hastags, mentions, etc The retweet button looks awesome (pull quote) Customize the description and picture of Pinterest. The price is $24/yr for one website. I have not purchased this plugin yet, but probably will be in the future. Also, I recently moved Weekly Web Tools to BlueHost just to try them out. I'll keep you posted. For more information visit Social Warfare (http://weeklywebtools.com/socialwarfare)

Monarch Social Sharing WordPress Plugin
Monarch is a great tool for spreading your message on the Internet via social media. This is from the people at elegant themes. The more I look into the products of this company the more impressed I am with everything they create. You can choose everything about how the social buttons look, how they line up, what triggers them, it's got an amazing set of options that allow you to be super creative. Technology Updates – Everything is Looking the Same
Today I'm sharing some insights about Digital Access Pass (http://weeklywebtools.com/dap) (Data Protection) and Gumroad (e-commerce) Videos are at www.weeklywebtools.com/289 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/289) Digital Access Pass Updates (http://weeklywebtools.com/dap) (DAP) is one of my favorite membership site tools. I LOVE their dripping feature. In the past you could not only drip content, but you could drip email (auto respond). The somewhat bad news is when you send email with your shared hosting server it may be seen as spam. Recently Digital Access Pass now integrates with Aweber. This uses Awebers API and thus enables you to bypass the double opt in. You can pass the password to Aweber and Aweber can send it to the customer. DAP also now seamlessly integrates with Clickbank, JVZoo and WarriorPlus. Now when people purchase your product and get taken back to your site they will automatically be signed in. A rarely-mentioned feature of DAP, is that DAP lets you take advantage of all of these different Affiliate Networks and sell the EXACT… SAME.. PRODUCT… on all of these networks… ALL the at same time! (http://weeklywebtools.com/dap) is a membership script, affiliate script, shopping cart, all in one. Pricing starts at $167 (one time fee) or $40 a month. Value Add On Takes Stripe Usage Up a Few Notches I talked about Value Add On in the past. The problem I had with my membership site wasn't protecting it, but the layout. After beating my head against the wall with OptimizePress 2.0 I switched to ValueAdd on to make the layout of my membership site. New Feature: Paid Trials and Payment Plans Allowed Posted on June 25, 2015 in Updates (http://www.valueaddon.com/category/updates) If you’re using Stripe.com to process payments, watch this video above and learn how we’ve totally re-written our built-in shopping cart to give you even more options to accept payments from your membership subscribers and customers. We’re excited to announce that your ValueAddon membership site has been upgraded to accept even more payment options including Paid Trials, Recurring payments with an end period, and more flexible payment plan options. By using Stripe.com and ValueAddon.com, you can create: Paid trials Multi-pay options Payment plans Split pay Paid trials to recurring Paid trials to split pay and much more… ThriveThemes Page Builder I was checking out (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/thrivethemes) A friend of mine told me that these were cool and flexible themes. I watched a ton of videos and they seem to focus on flexibility and fast loading themes. They offer a monthly ($20) or yearly ($147). that is for sites you own. If you want to put these themes on a clients site it's more. Their content builder is impressive. It just seems like I'm back in the 80's and I can't tell the difference between Faster Pussycat, Poison, Cinderella, and LA Guns. Different names with the same results. Thrive has some cool integrations to optimize your images automatically which will speed up your website and save you bandwidth. If I had to pick a motto for them it is speed and flexibility. They have lots of documentation, and videos. I was surprised that in one video the person doing the demo couldn't get the color of the text to stay white. While I appreciate the honesty, I did scratch my head. Here is a video showing of their Content Builder Divi 2.4 Have the Kitchen Sink As a creative person, I love that someone can draw me a layout and I can probably reproduce it with (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473) Pricing for Elegant Themes is $69 a year. $89 if you want to have access to their plugins (which I will be covering over the next few weeks). Elegant Themes has 87 themes (and you get access to all of them for $69). I have been using Divi on www.powerofpodcasting.com (http://www.powerofpodcasting.com) and (as

First Impressions of Fresh Books
I have been using (http://try.hrv.st/3-60715) for tracking my time. Then in another Excel spreadsheet I track things like affiliate sales, books sales and other ventures that I have going on. I thought storing the Excel Spreadsheet on Microsoft One Drive would make it easier, and it did. But report meant pivot tables, and all sort of stuff. It wasn't hard, but I felt like I was painting with peanut butter. The price of (https://schoolofpodcasting.freshbooks.com/refer/www) if you want to have unlimited clients $29. This is more than Harvest, but then again it does more than Harvest. I can track time with Freshbooks just like I did with Harvest. First Impressions It took next to no time to setup my company, my preferences, etc. It integrates with Paypal and Stripe (you can use them as a processor if you'd like 2.9% + .30). You can customize the colors, emails that are sent, set up taxes, and track all your expenses. There is also an app which makes it super cool. Harvest has an app, but for me I would get notified that an old domain renewed and I would have to login to onedrive, find my file, now I just open the app and add it. You can track pricing by the employee, by the job, by the skill. The best part if they have tons of little help bubbles to walk you through (http://weeklywebtools.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/freshbooks_pricing.png) Not As Pretty, But Not As Ugly Harvest invoices look better, but that doesn't mean Freshbooks Invoices are ugly. There are little things that I'm still searching for like how to adjust my signature in my emails. Support is Good I received an email from someone assigned to my account. I emailed her two days later and I thought it was cool that she was out of the office for a few days, and another employee jumped into make sure I got a speedy answer. My question was what about digital sales (I sell a spreadsheet for Companies looking to hold their own Biggest Loser contest (https://gumroad.com/l/blxls) ). I have affiliate sales. These are already invoiced or don't need an invoice. Their support explained how I can set up a dummy customer for "Affiliate Sales" create an invoice, and save it as a draft and then mark it paid. This way I can track my income. Expenses Made Easy When I looked at their free app, I was super pleased by its simple design that's going to make tracking expenses a snap. I can also track time if I'm doing consulting on the road. Everything feeds back to the cloud so it stays accurate. Features I Won't Use But are Cool There is a ticket support system so if someone has a problem with their bill, they can open a ticket. I use Rhino Support for my ticketing system. You can use a document system, this would be like your own private Google Docs or OneDrive. You can have administrators and staff each with different rights to different areas. What's Missing? I think the software will work for me. They have videos to show you how to track time, and create invoices, but that's about it. Their help system seems extensive, but I guess I was looking for more videos. They do offer beginner level webinars at many different times to match your schedule. Super Amazon Affiliate Stores That Look Great and Earn More
I'm not sure how I found out about Best Podcasting Gear (http://www.bestpodcastinggear.com) , and it was super easy to setup and it's already converting and earning income. What Is it? It's a script (not WordPress - but more on that later), that makes it super easy to create an Amazon affiliate store. Top Features 90 Day cookie (instead of 24 hour) Great looking Site Super Easy to Add Products and Categories Completely Customization You can setup your store, but keep it offline (so when you flip the switch you don't blow your fist impression) Supports all Amazon websites USA, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Canada, Italy, India, China, Japan and more! Your products are automatically added (if desired) and updated for you. Your store will run itself Is it a WordPress Thing? If you purchase the Fresh Store Builder, you can purchase a Wordpress Plugin that allows you to run your store on Wordpress (this is great for those who want to have a blog in addition to their store). They have demos of their sites on their website using their script and using Wordpress. I will probably be purchasing the WordPress plugin ($37) and moving the site to WordPress (I'm familiar with WordPress). Headlines – So Simple Even Your Kids Can Do It With Headlinr
We hear it over and over and Blog Post Titles, Podcast Titles are the headlines to your story. It's what gets your audience's attention. The problem is most of the time, its the thing we do last. We are tired, we just want to hit post, and we come up with something "that will do" and hit post. I just spent a few bucks to get a tool called (http://jvz6.com/c/59893/160856) that installs in Google or Firefox and it gives you HUNDREDS of examples of headlines. It provides a swipe file of some of the most popular headlines. So when you're tired, maybe a little cranky, and creativity is at a low, this tool comes to the rescue. What's the catch? Well they are going to try to upsell you to another product called Winnr which is a split testing tool. So now you can make great headlines and then use winnr to test and see which one works best (or you can skip it and stick with just headlinr. This is a one time fee ((not monthly) and I'm glad I purchased it. Here is a video of me using for the first time. Click here for example video I made (https://schoolofpodcasting.wistia.com/medias/3kmqmaim96)

IntelliPlayer - Wisitia Video Functionality without the Monthly Fees
I've spoken about Wistia in the past, and I love it. I use Lead Player on this page, but what if you want an alternative? (Lead Player is not available any more). Well I found one that has all the functionality of Wistia player without the monthly fees. It's call intelliplayer. The best part its (as of now) $59. for multiple sites ($29 for a single site). How is it so inexpensive? Because you will be greated with an upsale for more templates (so you can make your video in something that looks like an ipad, etc - some pretty cool stuff). You don't need to purchase the upsale. You get all the features without the upgrade. For more information go to Intelliplayer (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/intelliplayer)

Video Motion Pro
There are a ton of Video creation tools that have come out over the last few months. If you can't afford Camtasia ($300) wait till you hear about Video Motion ($67). This software has the following tools This software makes it super easy to: Record your camera and/or screen Do green screen effects. You can edit on a time line You can upload directly to YouTube Includes 20 audio tracks for videos Includes auto updates. 30 logo animations (to make your own intro) I really liked the Video Outro creator. This is that shot at the end of the video where you see multiple videos at the same time with a subscribe button. It really makes it easy and the best part is it's only $67. Now they will try to get you with an upsale ($67) for more animations and audio, but you can always decline. They then try to upsell you a player. If you keep saying no, you spend $67 for a great piece of software. Check out Video Motion Pro (http://jvz4.com/c/59893/128623)

Build Your Own Inforgraphic For Free - WP Scroll Depth
(https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-scroll-depth/) is a free plugin that works with Google Analytics to help you see how far down your visitors are scrolling. You also have the option to track events of three different types: Percentage: Percentage events are fired at the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% scrolling points. There’s also a Baseline event which fires as soon as the page loads. Pixel Depth: Pixel Depth events record the scroll distance in pixels, rounded down to the nearest 250px increment. While the percentage events provide a relative measure of scroll depth, pixel depth events provide an absolute measure. This can be useful for comparing across devices where the relative percentage heights vary greatly (e.g., desktop vs mobile). Elements: You can also track when specific elements on the page are scrolled into view. On a blog, for example, you could send a Scroll Depth event whenever the user reaches the end of a post. https://youtu.be/SzI9RzvnwZA

Pablo Vs Save As Image - Cool - Quick - Graphics
If you read any article about getting more traffic, they will say to include images in your posts. Today we have two tools that make great looking images and they cost next to nothing. Pablo By Buffer This is a great tool that allows you to create images with text, multi-line if needed, and you can add an icon. Their images are limited, but you can upload your own. It's free, and you can make a great looking image in next to no time. weeklywebtools.com/pablo (https://bufferapp.com/pablo) Share As Image Share as image is more versatile, and it can be used without going to the Pablo site. You can use it on any browser (including IE). The cost is $12 unless you buy a year in advance. In that case it is only $8 a month. For more information go to weeklywebtools.com/shareasimage (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/shareasimage)

Slack - Team Communication Tool
Slack is an interesting tool for those people who work on teams. It enables you to have all of your communication in one place. All of your items in Google Docs, Dropbox, and many other tools can be organized and made searchable with Slack. You can make a team, and then have categories (public or private so if you have different levels for team members you can have a category just for management). It's easy to sign up. For me, its kind of hard to bring team members into the fold (I can make it recognize an domain, so here again it is made for businesses - not podcasters). I was bmmered there is no way (that I could see after using it for 10 minutes) to make a page where people could go in an request to join my team (there is a tool for that it's call facebook). It turns out that Slack is from one of the co-founders of Flickr. It has been growing quickly for just being around a little over a year. The more I play with it, the more I see its potential. I do with they had more of a "step by step" video If you're interested in playing with my Weekly Web Tools team, send an email to [email protected] and put the word SLACK in the subject. If you are looking to start your own Slack team go to weeklywebtools.com/slack (https://slack.com/r/03ufcr3p-03uhu3gy)

Canva vs YouZign
Canva is a great tool for creating graphics online. They have an ipad app, and some great graphics. If you use one of the stock photos, the charge is $1. I recently made some artwork for a podcast that cost me $1. Now if I was a person that blogged frequently, tweeted frequently, and created youtube videos frequently, this could add up. YouZign is also an online tool for creating graphics. It is (currently) $47. It is a one time fee. When I tried it out, it is very flexible, and easy to use, but the graphics that they include are more clip are than photographs. If you're making flyers, and such for the Church cookie sale this might work, but not so much in online business. The cute little cartoons might work in video, but my jury is still out for using them in marketing materials. The way they keep the price low is they are building more templates and you can get $100 more for around $65. They do have a nice preview so you can see how the graphic would work (for example) on an actual Facebook page. Conclusion: If you make LOTS of graphics, the price savings would make it a wise choice. In the video below I used it for about 5 minutes (so you may be seeing operator error). I wanted to show you the learning curve (if there is one). See www.weeklywebtools.com/279 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/279)

Easy, Fast, Copywriting Tool - Script Doll
Today we have a tool to help create copy for your website. It's Call Script Doll, and it's pretty cool. You put in the demographics of your audience, you put in your product, and from there you can have it spit out sales letters, email blasts, video sales letters and more. It's impressive. It's not perfect, and like everything I had to go back and tweak some stuff as it is taking your input and putting it into what amounts to be a template. The templates are created by copywriting gurus, and I must say that after ready the first thing it spits out at me, I was thinking, "Man when I write copy it just sucks". I was getting sucked into my own product. As there is no "one size fits all" there will be some tweaking. Script doll gets you most of the way and you tweak the rest. The price is $61 a month. I can see some folks purchasing this for one month, getting all the copy they need, and canceling their subscription (which is why it's probably $61 a month). Now let's think about this. One of my favorite books on copywriting is by Ray Edwards. You can learn alot about copywriting from this book It will alos take you more than 20 minutes to read it. So if you want good copy, that you can edit (the program gives you your copy in a word document or pdf), and use on your site in a matter of minutes (not days) this is an impressive tool. There is a video at weeklywebtools.com/278 For more information go to weeklywebtools.com/script doll

Amazing Membership Sites in Minutes - Speed Test And Webgrader
Pingdom Speed Test with Website Grader I found tools.pingdom.com to be very cool as it shows you how long it took your site to load, what slowed things down, and gives you a grade. The best part is its free. Vallue Add On Membership Site Tool I was using Digital Access Pass (protection and processing), Wistia (videos), and Optimizepress (theme) to create a membership site. Using those three tools I put out $624 a year or $52 a month. The tool I found is $197 for the first year and $37 a month after your first year. There are no bandwidth limits (like Wistia), and I can create a website in minutes. Who Needs That Many Details Using Optimizepress the good news is you can control everything. The bad news is you can control everything. In many cases there are features that I'm just not using. When I watched the video for this tool I was amazed and they have great features I will be using such as: Progress bars as people go through your content (looks alot like Udemy) Integrates with Facebook groups Super easy merchant account through Stripe and JVZoo No limits on videos and bandwidth. The videos are converted for multiple formats and html5 complaint so people can consume content on their iPads/iPhones, etc. Great looking user interface with the ability for students to take notes in each lesson that are saved on the site. I love that I don't have to worry about plugins, and my site's speed. It's all handled by ValueAddon Valueaddon is co-owned by JVZoo which is a HUGE Affiliate network (so I know its not going anywhere) So far the support has been quick and helpful. You can allow downloads or not of videos and other materials Here is a video of me showing the before and after.

It's called Sumome (www.sumome.com) This tool allows you to have the following: Heat Maps Analytics that show how far people are scrolling down Multiple tools to provide ways to sign up for your e-mail list A tool that shows link to share your information. here is a demo of the share feature

Wista Video Hosting - Super Fun - Super Easy - Super Powerful
Today I started playing with Wista Video Hosting. This company understands their audience, what they need, and they make it easy to use and the have a GREAT job of holing your hand virtually the process. Here is a video I made showing the back end of wista. Realize I just stared using the service, and this is my first impression http://schoolofpodcasting.wistia.com/medias/vlfk4ozsn5 (http://schoolofpodcasting.wistia.com/medias/vlfk4ozsn5) Their interface is awesome. Their support seems to read your mind and answer your question before you ask it. They aren't trying to help you make better videos (that's your job). They are helping you make your videos be shared (or lock them down tight) with a simple point and click interface. The one thing I really like is you can see not only how many times the video was played, but how far people watched. That is crucial. You can see if it was replayed. This can point out two things. 1. The video is great - and people watch again and again 2. The video is missing the point, and people need to watch it again because they are confused. I am really impressed. Wisita Vs Vimeo Let me say I am a happy Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com) user. Comparing the two, it seems like Vimeo is has a split personality. One one hand they want you to watch videos on Vimeo, and on the other hand they are a Video hosting company (with tools to help you share, brand, and protect). Their interface is just not as good. Yes, the have help. It's not as intuitive. One scenario that might be happening here is I've been a Vimeo user for about a year (so I forget their first impression). It just seems like there are features I'm not using (royalty free music for my video) that kind of clutter up the place. Where is my call to action? Where is my email integration? These are features I will use (and may exist, but I'm unaware - but I don't think so). Wistia has a great tool, and as a trainer, are doing a great job of making me understand how to get the most out of their product. After playing with Wistai for 10 minutes this morning, I'm going to be checking to see when my Vimeo account renews. That is another issue, Vimeo only allows you to order their Pro service in yearly intervals ($200). Wisita is $25 a month for the features I need (Small Business Account). This means that Wisita is $8 more a month (but I pay in smaller amounts over time), but if I'm getting more subscribers, I'm getting more sales, then Wisita could easily pay for itself.

eCover Authority - Great Covers with No Monthly Fees
Over the past month I went to fiverr.com to get a kindle book cover created. It was fine. It took a couple of days. It cost me $15 since I wanted the photoshop files. Then later last week I needed an ebook cover. Thats when I discovered ecover authority. Its a web based solution that I've seen other places (so they must have a reseller account). This one is different as its $37 ONCE. There is no monthly fee. If you are a person who makes guides, ebooks, software, or needs to show your product on a tablet or phone, you can make some pretty cool graphics with this tool. Check out the video www.weeklywebtools.com/273 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/273) For more information go to ecoverauthority.com (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/ecover) Did you find this episode of value? please consider a donation.

Backup Creator - Plugin Rankings - Divi Theme - Canva School - Zoom.us
Backup Creator I purchased (http://backupcreator.com/bc/?e=podcastcoach) Canva Design School (http://designschool.canva.com/) is a free list of tutorials to help you make better graphics. Elegant Themes Divi Theme Forever? Divi Theme is super powerful (http://www.elegantthemes.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=4473&url=18621) , but it uses a TON of short codes. It appears that if you use this to create your website and later decide to switch themes, you may end up with a page of just short code (I need to contact their support to see if this is true). On the other side of the fence, the theme is so powerful, why would you leave? See a video at www.weeklywebtools.com/272 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/272) Cool Plugin Driectory that Uses Rankings Managewp.org has a cool tool that allows you to see Wordpress Plugins are popular. It does this by downloads, rankings, etc. It's pretty cool and you can look at different categories. Check it out at https://managewp.org/plugins/best (https://managewp.org/plugins/best) Zoom.us Goto Webinar replacement If you have small meetings, and don't need people to register this is a great service for $9.99 a month. It allows people to join on PC, Mac, or tablet. it even lets tablet/phone user share their screen. It's pretty cool. Check it out at zoom.us (http://www.zoom.us)

Explaindio and Landing Page Monkey Use Video Backgrounds
For more information and videos see weeklywebtools.com/271 (http://www.weeklywebtools.com/271) Update from last week. We got a notice that wplistbooster is offering no support and apparently has conflicts with lots of plugins. Thanks to Orlando from hablandodetecnologia.com (http://www.hablandodetecnologia.com/) (a podcast about tech done in spanish). Explaindo Has Video, Cartoons, and Sketching All in One program. I've purchased numerous programs that produce videos. One was a white board, the other had cool buttons and characters. Explaindio has all of these plus you can use video as a background and then draw over it, or use animations. Check out this video. (http://weeklywebtools.com/explaindio) Landing Page Monkey Landing Page Monkey is another tool that allows you to create cool looking landing pages with video in the background. This seems to be the latest trend and you can get it through the end of the year for $32. This video shows you how versatile it is to use (almost too many options). They do have a beginner and advanced options so those who don't need all these options don't have to step over them. Check out landingpagemonkey.com (http://weeklywebtools.com/landingpagemonkey)

WP List Booster - Tons of Features For the Price
I've spoken about wplistbuilder.com (http://weeklywebtools.com/wplistbuilder) http://youtu.be/jDO3hl_K7q0?list=UUOsFNNFwDvziV6VCFF3-wEA
