Jemma Mi Mi is the first Professional Netballer we have had on the Pod and she is a jet with the microphone in hand! She speaks to us about her ambitions for the Queensland Firebirds, her experience with the Australia A Development team and how many kilometres she covers in a game.
We need to mention that this was recorded a few weeks ago and it seems like a completely different time. The birds are in the background chirping, Jemma was preparing for the upcoming season and people were allowed out of their houses in groups of 3 or more. That has since come to a screeching halt so her preparation would look slightly different now.
That being said it is still a fascinating chat where we find out about her netball but also the things everyone wants to know such as; how short is Leigh, which Mi Mi sister is the most naturally gifted and what is her go to Karaoke song? She also sets the bar very high for future guests on the podcast... start practicing your animal noises.
