We Are! (Watching One Piece)

Enel sure is destroying the entire island of Skypeia. Half of this episode is that, and the other half is flashbacks. We're almost done here!

Enel reveals his cleverly named plan of Deathpeia, but not before murdering everyone right before Luffy arrives. Lots of conversations this week! All shonens is the same.

And nothing is right with Skypeia. The war rages on, we worry about our boy Chopper, and we learn more about Enel's plans for the island. Luffy is still in that dang snake.

Luffy gets vored by a snake, so this week we focus on everyone else! Zoro gets into a fight he decides to win, Chopper proves himself as a big boy, and Sanji is dead. Great!

The Upper Yard was part of Jaya? The Going Merry is haunted? God is just a normal looking dude? All this and more, this week in Skypeia!

We choose balls! Luffy and Sanji deal with a priest, Zoro is a Tarzan fan, and we learn a lot about Gan Fall and Skypeia's past.

Into the heavens of Skypeia! Lots of discussion and cops punching, which is a formula for a perfect episode. Let's beat up God!

A recap of the Baroque Works / Alabasta Saga! We breeze through a few arcs and lots of big fights to catch back up to Skypiea. We also meet two new Straw Hats and Luffy's brother! We love that rubber boy.

Jory and Jo arrive at Alabasta! We learn of Vivi's past, Crocodile's plans, and meet Ace!! This is the FIRST time we've split an arc so hopefully it works out for the show, because these arcs get long.

Jory and Jo are both in snowy, below zero degree states right now so what better island to visit than Drum Island!! We meet our new son, Tony Tony Chopper, and cry a lot.

Jory and Jo recap and discuss the first two arcs of the Alabasta Saga: Whiskey Peak and Little Garden! A bunch of stuff happens, we learn the plot and villian covering the next 100 or so episodes, and Jo tries not to explode out of excitement

Jo and Jory get to the next arc of One Piece and meet the newest lead character, Usopp. He grows on you, each time he lies.

Jo and Jory recap and discuss the first two arcs of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece anime adaptation which began airing late in 1999 and has just kept going. We hope you enjoy listening because boy is there a lot of One Piece for us to watch and talk about.
