York County leaders looking to expand transit system
As the area continues to grow, congestion is becoming more of an issue and leaders are discussing more transit options.

York County officials have meetings scheduled for July 16 and July 18 to discuss expanding the county's transit system.
The director of RFATS in York County, David Hooper, said with the growth the area has seen, the conversation of expanding roadways and transit was inevitable.
“This area is growing," Hooper told WCNC Charlotte. "We have a lot of new people coming into the area, businesses coming into the area and there are changes as a result. We’re going to be looking at levels of traffic congestion, system reliability, and how we make that work in York County and North Carolina."
