Before you head to your polling place, it's important to know what you need to vote in the North Carolina primary election. Voters affiliated with any political party may vote the ballot of candidates for their party only. For unaffiliated voters, you may choose to vote on any one party's ballot or a nonpartisan ballot, if available. A voter cannot vote in more than one party's primary.
