A recent shooting at the home of GOP congressional candidate Pat Harrigan’s parents and young children caused no injuries but has placed “tremendous stress” on the family in the final weeks of his campaign, Harrigan’s mother said. Bridges, 24, appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday and pleaded no contest to one count of injuring a child's parent. The two felony counts of child abuse were dismissed. In response to his plea, the judge issued a three-year probation sentence for Bridges.
