Shooting in Maiden leaves 3 dead, suspect arrested
The suspect has been charged with three counts of first degree murder, and is being held without bond at the Catawba County Detention Center.

Three people were killed in a deadly shooting in Catawba County on Tuesday.
The shooting happened on PJ McRee Road around 7:42 p.m., according to the Maiden Police Department. Three adults were found dead at the home. A juvenile was found unhurt at the home.
Maiden Police learned that the suspect had driven away from the scene after the shootings, and officers received information about the suspect's location within an hour from the first call to police.
