Tuesday night, the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners voted to adopt the budget for the upcoming 2025 fiscal year.
County leaders approved a $2.5 billion county budget for Fiscal Year 2025. This number represents a 5.9%, or $140 million increase, over the county's 2024 budget.
