Investigators dropped the charges against a Monroe woman accused of locking her boyfriend in a storage unit for days after the man admitted he gave police conflicting information about the incident.
Robin Deaton was charged with first-degree kidnapping and attempted first-degree murder after detectives said she locked her boyfriend in a storage unit on Feb. 20. The man was left there for almost four days, according to an arrest warrant. Those charges were dismissed on March 6, according to documents obtained by WCNC Charlotte.
