Investigations underway after violent weekend in Charlotte
It was a violent weekend in the Queen City. Early Sunday morning, police responded to Hamilton Street just north of Uptown after two people were shot.

One person has been killed in north Charlotte and a homicide investigation is underway, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. That investigation started Saturday night, when police said they found a person dead from trauma on Trailer Drive.
It was a violent weekend in the Queen City. Early Sunday morning, police responded to Hamilton Street just north of Uptown after two people were shot. Both people had life-threatening injuries. Then late Sunday night, two people were shot on Fortune Street, which is near Bojangles Coliseum. One person has life-threatening injuries and another person has minor injuries, according to Medic.
