Major changes are coming to Interstate 77 in Mooresville as crews begin construction on a massive 10-lane bridge as part of the North Carolina 150 widening project.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, July 14, the right lane on both sides of I-77 at Exit 36 will permanently close for crews to start the first phase of widening the bridge to 10 lanes on N.C. 150. There will also be nightly closures as needed for workspace.
For folks who travel on 150 in Mooresville, traffic is nothing new.
