A man is dead following a shooting at an apartment complex in southwest Charlotte, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said. Officers responded to a call just before 2 a.m. at The Volaire apartment complex, a "relatively new" development along West Tyvola Road, where they found a man with a gunshot wound.
