Charlotte Douglas International Airport will conduct what it calls a full-scale emergency exercise for much of Wednesday, but passengers shouldn't expect disruptions as they get to their flights.
A news release Tuesday said the drill would last from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. It'll happen indoors in part of the Concourse A Expansion that's still under construction in Phase II. The aim is to test the coordination and response capabilities of several agencies involved in emergency situations.
