Cam from WCBH and his family begin their walk along the Camino Frances, starting at St-Jean-Pied-de-Port and reaching Valcarlos after a steep first day of about 13 km with heavy packs and cold winter weather.
They plan to cover the 790 km route over roughly 45 days with an eight-year-old in tow, collecting pilgrim stamps toward the Compostela certificate and sharing daily updates.
