Show Notes
Haywood Fennell talks about attending the inauguration of Mayor Michelle Wu, the importance of veterans as an underused community resource, and admonishes the current presidential administration for how they have treated veterans. Haywood also discusses going from being homeless (but not hopeless) to leading community initiatives, including opening the General Gourdin and African American Veterans Memorial, as well as launching the Oscar Micheaux Family Theater Company in 1997. He also encourages listeners to call Robert Santiago, Commissioner of Veterans' Services for the City of Boston.
