Legislation was passed that requires owners of buildings more than 50.000 thousand square feet to reduce their energy usage to meet or exceed prescribed energy usage intensity targets, which can vary depending on the building's usage type; Starting January 1st, Washington employers with 15 or more employees must include these three items in external and internal job postings: wage scale or salary range, a general description of all benefits, and a general description of other compensation that comes with the position.
