U.S. Park Police officer shot, two arrested in D.C. shooting: A U.S. Park Police officer was shot twice in the shoulder while on surveillance duty in southeast Washington, D.C. The officer was followed by a recent arrestee, Asheile Foster, when two armed men opened fire on the car. Darren Foster, 21, and Asheile Foster, 22, both from southeast D.C., were arrested and charged with assault on a federal officer. Camera footage and recovered evidence, including shell casings and a rifle, support the case against the pair.
