Montgomery Countys Spring Bike Classes: Learn to Ride for $10
Montgomery County in Maryland is offering low-cost adult bike classes this spring, with sessions running from April through June. The program includes nine learn-to-ride sessions and one basic skills class, priced at just $10 for county residents and free for Washington Area Bicyclist Association or Capital Bike Share for All members. Classes are limited to 25 people each and teach essential bike skills. Experienced instructors lead the sessions, and there are two free walk-up e-scooter classes after select bike sessions. Registration is now open for April classes, with May and June sign-ups starting April 2nd and May 1st, respectively. The county has over 100 miles of bike lanes and paths, and rain dates are set for a week or two after originals.
