Duke, a special K-9 in Frederick County, Maryland, aids investigator Justin Walters in child exploitation cases by sniffing out hidden digital storage devices. With his unique ability to detect a specific chemical compound, Duke has helped rescue many children and take offenders off the streets. As a therapy dog, he also provides comfort to victims and emotional support to the team. Our Rescue, a nonprofit, has trained and supplied nearly one hundred fifty such dogs to agencies worldwide, with demand growing as exploitation cases rise.
