The Washington Commanders have bolstered their running back corps with the signing of Jerome Ford and Rachaad White in the 2026 NFL free agency period. Ford, a fifth-round pick in 2022, had a breakout year in 2023, starting twelve games and amassing 1,132 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns. Despite limited carries in 2025, he continued to shine as a receiver, catching at least twenty-six passes for the third consecutive year.
