Today we welcome Steven Hyden, a music critic you may know previously from AV Club and Grantland. He also hosts a podcast, called Celebration Rock. Finally, Steven is an author and has a book coming out May 17th called Your Favorite Band is Killing Me, where he explores nineteen music rivalries and what they say about life. Steven is a big fan of punk and independent music and was nice enough to spend an hour with us talking about his life, and giving us a sneak peak into some of the themes in the book.
