This week's episode week we talk about the emerging neolithic cultures of the Yangtze Delta. This includes the Kuahuqiao, Hemudu, and Majiabang.
We discuss the expanding roll of rice agriculture during this period for the various sites. but also the continued reliance on wild sources of food. We also discuss some the differences in their pottery as well as other artifacts. We talk about the canoe found at Kuahuqio, and their disappearance.
