Many of believe that slavery ended after the Civil War. There are women and children in our country, enslaved by the illegal sex trade. Their bondage is not defined by chains, but rather violence coercion and debt-bondage. This is happening in the world, today. Human sex trafficking is the second illegal industry, second only to the drug trade. Why don't we hear about this?
