Hello Travelers! This week's episode is all about your suggestions! We asked you what areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios you'd like us to explore, you responded, and we let you guys be the guide. Starting at Echo Lake, we venture down Sunset Blvd and pause to take in the sounds of the music and the crowd. Next we headed further down to the Hollywood Tower hotel to not only seek out some ambiance, but also take in a tour of the Tower of Terror store. After a brief stop for some dinner we walked over to the Grand Ave and Baseline Taphouse area, where we took some time to read the signage on the shops along Grand Avenue, and then took a left turn into Grand Park to get some Muppets vibes. We ended the night in Galaxy's Edge under the rising moons of Batuu and the sounds of arriving and departing ships. We start out at Tomorrowland Terrace and work our way through Tomorrowland, taking time to check attraction lines, poke into the Space Mountain store, and take a ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. We escape the heat for a few with a cold beverage and short part of the set from Sonny Eclipse in Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe, and then we wind the episode up by tracking down some Guest Experience cast members to leave a cast compliment for a wonderful cast member that went above and beyond. Hello Travelers! Join us this week in Disney's Animal Kingdom as we do a summer walkabout. Hear the rumbling thunder as we begin our journey near the Tree of Life shortly after a central Florida summer thunderstorm rolled through. We make our way toward DinoLand USA and ride Dinosaur together, and then walk to Asia where I snag a table at the bar at Yak and Yeti for a quick dinner, and then rejoin you for a stroll over toward Harambe. Together we explore some of the signage of Harambe Market, because of course we do. Lastly, we end the episode near the floating mountains of Pandora. NOTE: if the audio for Dinosaur at points sounds a little off, it is because that attraction is INCREDIBLY loud. I had no idea. It pegged the mic volume in many places. Hello Travelers! A trip to Epcot is in store for you this week - we met friends from California for a meal in Le Cellier and after they joined us to record this week's episode intro. Heather and I then ventured from the France pavilion back to The Land area for another ride through Living with the Land since the plastic seat dividers are now gone, and we record as we walk. We then (finally) record one of our favorite attractions - Soarin' Around the World. We end the episode next to ImageWorks where the leaping fountains are now leaping once again. Something a little different for this episode is that we recorded with two devices - our normal 4 channel surround sound mic, as well as a new binaural mic, and layered the audio for what I hope is an even more immersive sound.
