Show Notes
On December 6th, 2008, an elderly Springfield man was found dead in the kitchen of his West Chicago Street home. The subsequent investigation identified 6 individuals who had orchestrated a complex murder-for-hire plot. Among them was 25-year-old William Reed. To this day, William has repeatedly maintained his innocence about the crime and claimed that he was unwittingly drawn into a murder scheme he knew nothing about. In this week’s episode, we investigate the facts of William’s case, giving him the platform to set the record straight and tell his unfiltered version of events 16 years later. As we cut through the details of this case, we’ll find that there are only two key people who truly know what happened inside the victim’s house that December evening. Join us as we interview these two individuals and seek the answers that lie at the heart of William’s Reeds case, on this episode of Voices of a Killer.
