Show Notes
In this episode, we talk to Luis Perez, a man convicted of a triple homicide on Halloween night in 2018. Following a long, four-year trial, Luis was found guilty of killing Joshua Hampton, Steven Marler, and Sabrina Starr after being evicted by his landlord – a fact Luis strongly denies. As he recounts the events of that night, Luis defends his innocence, citing evidence he claims the judge has unfairly overlooked. Not only has Luis experienced racism during the trial, but his status as an undocumented immigrant has also stirred up online discourse, a topic we’ll explore further in this interview.
Gang ties, evidence tampering, and a stolen gun – these are all pieces of the story that we’ll assemble in this episode. Join us as we offer Luis an opportunity to share his side of the story on this chilling episode of Voices of a Killer.
