In which I interview Robert Russa Moton Museum Education Director Cainan Townsend for American Evolution: Virginia to America 1619-2019. Cainan discusses how a group of African-American high school students led a 1951 protest which had a major influence on Brown vs. Board of Education and the Civil Rights movement that soon followed.
