Rabbi Yosef Blau, retired mashgiach ruchani at Yeshiva University and former president of the Religious Zionists of America, joins Talkline with Zev Brenner to share his perspective on Israel’s moral responsibilities in Gaza. At 86, Rabbi Blau remains a powerful voice for ethical leadership. He is the author of “A Call for Moral Clarity, Responsibility, and a Jewish Orthodox Response in the Face of the Gaza Humanitarian Crisis,” an open letter signed by 80 Orthodox rabbis. While the letter unequivocally condemns Hamas, it also wants the Israeli Government to provide more Humanitarian aid to Gaza.
