The Advocate sports team is back, discussing what could happen next for Patriots QB and former Victoria East QB Bailey Zappe following getting waived in New England and landing on the practice squad. Week 1 of the high school football season has come and gone and we're here to talk about it, plus Week 2 action and area volleyball.

We made it to Week 1 of the football season in South Texas, there are plenty of big games to discuss and Mike, Jeremiah and Gabe discuss what they'll be looking for in the games they'll be covering this Friday night.

The Advocate sports team is back with all sorts of football scrimmage and camp intel from around the crossroads. Volleyball is in full swing and all Victoria schools won their home games Tuesday night.

Football camps in the area continue and Victoria East and Victoria West camps are underway. The games are here, volleyball is in action beginning this week and the trio wraps up the Victoria Generals season.

Mike, Jeremiah and Gabe are ecstatic about the return of football and discuss what has been happening at camps around the region. Gabe and Jeremiah have also been going to area volleyball practices and the trio discusses a trend they are seeing in football recruiting.

Gabe, Mike and Jeremiah are excited that we're just days away from football camp beginning. One man from Cuero helped the Pirates draft Paul Skenes no. 1 overall and the Victoria Generals have clinched home field advantage throughout the postseason.

Mike, Jeremiah and Gabe are here to talk about the Victoria Advocate's All-Area baseball team. Mike was at the UIL coaching convention this week in Houston and has returned with some thoughts, plus a local MMA promotion is making inroads in South Texas.

Mike and Jeremiah are back from vacation and join Gabe once again. With the all area softball teams out the trio discusses what went into picking the teams, the Generals franchise record winning streak and look back at their favorite moments of the year.
