Rosenbaum DVM, MPH from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts on a recent study entitled Perceptions of support and policies regarding pregnancy, parenting, and family planning during veterinary training at United States veterinary medical training institutions. As someone who personally struggled with infertility, losses, and failed IVF, this study rang true to me. What do we need to know about family planning in veterinary medicine? Can you be pregnant in veterinary school or in training and survive?
