Because no one has ever been able to define God, most religions require faith, which, over the millennia, has created rituals and dogma serving more to separate than unite us. All believe they have the right answers, the right explanations, the one truth. Leaders of nations have used religion to justify any actions they chose to perpetrate on an unwilling populous...even to potentially destroying the very planet that gives us all life.
