The incident occurred when they visited her mothers home to see a litter of puppies. The adult dogs, including the puppies mother, turned aggressive, mauling the boy and fatally injuring his mother. The boy survived with severe bites, and the adult dogs were euthanized. The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Coroners Division is investigating the incident.
