Haley Z. Boston, a screenwriter from Oregon, debuts her Netflix limited series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. Blending surreal dread and wedding paranoia, the show follows a bride and groom as strange events unfold before their big day. Starring Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, Boston, whos scared of almost everything, created and executive produced the series. Inspired by films like Kill Bill, she penned episodes for shows like Brand New Cherry Flavor and Cabinet of Curiosities. Her own doubts about love shaped the story, and with Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer as executive producers, the series was filmed in Toronto. Now engaged, Boston is set to direct a film and break into the horror scene.
