Country Joe McDonald, lead singer of Country Joe and the Fish, has passed away at 84. Known for anti-war songs, he co-founded the band in Berkeley and released their debut album in 1967. His signature track, I-Feel-Like-Im-Fixin-to-Die Rag, became an anthem for Vietnam War protests. McDonalds stand against war defined his career, and he kept making music solo until his death from Parkinsons complications. He is survived by his wife, five children, and four grandchildren.
