35-year-old Australian man, Thomas Jesse Bingham, faces federal charges for allegedly assaulting a TSA officer at LAX. Bingham, who was headed to Las Vegas, accused the officer of stealing his backpack and passport. He then physically attacked the officer, causing injuries. Bingham was arrested twice, once at the airport and again before boarding a flight to the UK. If convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison.
