Show Notes

Kelly and Chip welcome one of Chip's favorite authors of all time, Jedidiah Jenkins, to talk about his new book, Mother, Nature. Jedidiah Jenkins is a New York Times bestselling author of the books To Shake the Sleeping Self and Like Streams to the Ocean, in his new book Mother, Nature, Jedidiah chronicles his cross country roadtrip with his mother and tackles the complex relationships between a mother and son with completely different views on topics like politics, sexuality and religion. The book asks the question many people face: “How do I stay in a relationship with family when our differences pull us apart?” The group compares the ability to hold relationships with others with differing opinions to what's happening in our society as a whole.
